PI Industries Limited was adjudged winner at the 14th Edition of CII-National Awards for Excellence in Water Management 2020. The objective of the awards is to recognise the leadership role in implementing water and watershed management projects with the involvement of public/private agencies and communities to facilitate sharing of information by excellent water efficient companies.
PI received this prestigious award for its ‘DSR Project: Case study of Kaithal District’ following a rigorous multiple rounds of evaluation by an eminent jury chaired by Dr Anil Kakodkar, eminent Indian nuclear physicist and former Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission of India. At the virtual ceremony on 16 December 2020, Mr Dinkar Joshi received the award on behalf of PI from Shri Upendra Prasad Singh, Secretary, Department of Water Resources, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India.
